New The Acolyte Trailer

Disney started the celebrations early with the release of a new trailer for Star Wars: The Acolyte – and one key detail has revealed a fan-favorite link to the prequel movies.

The new trailer was released on Star Wars’ Korean language social media channels and is primarily made up of footage we’ve seen before. The 45 second trailer, which is interspersed with Korean star Lee Jung-sae, does however feature the return of a Neimoidian. This species played a prominent role in the prequel trilogy, but has been absent since.

Star Wars: The Acolyte launches on Tuesday, June 4, with the first two episodes, exclusively on Disney+.
