MEDUSA Series starts July 6
The first-ever MEDUSA Series is an independent Valorant tournament for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region’s women and marginalized gender teams. It’s organized by VCT observer Melanie “mel” Hoi-San. The event starts on July 6 at 6 p.m. CEST with a group stage consisting of 16 teams. It will run until July 8.

Tournament format
The group stage consists of 16 teams. They will compete to reach the top-four slots, which will advance to the MEDUSA Series semi-finals. At this stage of the tournament, there will be a lower bracket where fallen teams will have one more chance to fight for survival. The winners of the upper and lower finals will advance to the grand finals to see who will take the title of the first-ever MEDUSA Series champions and the lion’s share of the €2,000 EUR ~ $2,100 USD prize pool.
