I Choose You! Appear in Pokemon Go by winning this competition
Have you ever wanted to wake up one day, find out that the whole world of Pokemon has been living, somehow, under your nose, and that you can quit everything to pick up a Pokemon ball and start your new life as a trainer? The answer is obviously yes, so you’ll be pleased to know that you can live that dream out – sort of – thanks to a competition in Pokemon Go.
As explained by Eurogamer, the developer of Pokemon Go, Niantic, are out looking for 8 lucky players to star in the game as important NPCs. These NPCs will play a major role in the upcoming ticketed Pokémon Go Tour: Kanto event. You can find more information surrounding that event on the official website.
The competition is fairly simple. All you need to do to enter is send a screenshot of your Pokemon Go avatar, as well a list of three Pokemon (non-Legendary and non-Mythical Kantos are not allowed) that you’d have as part of your team, to Niantic. Of course, you’ll need to dress up your avatar to have a certain style that shows off your personality, your team composition, and the theme that you’re shooting for in regards to your character. So, if you want to be a goth dog lover? Then you know exactly what sort of look you want to show off to Niantic. B
How to enter is also pretty easy. Head on over to Twitter and, using the hashtag #PokemonGOTourContest before 8am UK time on the 12th of January. Players who have won the competition will be revealed at PokeStops around the world. So, expect a lot of friend requests then!
The winning players will be able to be interacted with not just in the ticketed Kanto event, but also in the general game world too. Now everyone can know your name!
