NYC Gaymers present Gaymer Pride 2024
NYC Gaymers’ 2024 Pride celebration and convention is back for a fifth year with cosplay drag icon Megami headlining the event, fresh from RuPaul’s Drag Race!
Expanding on the success of last year, this will be New York City’s Second Annual Pride celebration focused on games and the communities forged around them: Gaymer Pride!
Starting in 2020, as an online convention styled after an anime summer festival, NYC Gaymers sought to keep NYC’s LGBTQIA+ community connected during one of its most isolated times through gaming and other fun activities. Each year after, the teams has continued to bring together merchants, developers, non-profits, community groups, and so many others across the LGBTQIA+ community to create a space where they can interact, have fun, and celebrate Pride & gaming!
This year’s event will see partnerships with all your favorite National and New York City based game houses, community groups and corporate sponsors with an in person event alongside online programming to help community members join in on the fun from their own homes around the world.
Get ready for NYC Gaymer Pride on Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 12 pm – 6 pm at Museum of the Moving Image in Queens and online.
