RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Shea Couleé joins MCU’s Ironheart

RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Shea Couleé is already having an incredible 2022, but now it looks like things are going to get bigger with the star being cast in Ironheart.

Ironheart is Disney’s and Marvel’s 2023 TV series following Dominique Thorne (If Beale Street Could Talk) as Riri Williams, a genius inventor who creates the most advanced suit of armor since Iron Man. Thorne is set to be introduced as Riri Williams in the upcoming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

As well as their involvement in RuPaul’s Drag Race, Couleé is also an acclaimed music artist, actor, director, and producer.

Other actors involved in Ironheart include Lyric Ross (This Is Us) as Riri William’s best friend N.A.T.A.L.I.E, Alden Ehrenreich (Solo: A Star Wars Story) in an unknown role, Manny Montana (Good Girls) in an unknown role, Anthony Ramos (In Treatment, She’s Gotta Have It) and Harper Anthony.

Marvel’s Ironheart is set to release sometime next year, 2023.
