Will Life is Strange: True Colors release on Xbox Game Pass?

Life is Strange: True Colors is only a few days away, but already fans are clamoring to jump on into the next wild, supernatural adventure that Deck Nine have cooked up. That said, there’s just one question that’s on some people’s minds: will Life is Strange: True Colors come to Xbox Game Pass sometime in the future, or will it be available straight away on release?

The original Life is Strange, as well as its sequel eventually ended up being on Xbox Game Pass, but neither were on release – due to the little fact that the Game Pass wasn’t around during that time. However, things have since changed and now the model has become so ingrained into gaming that it’s become almost natural to wonder whether every big game release will find its way onto the pass.

As for Life is Strange: True Colors, it hasn’t been confirmed or denied that it will or will not be on the Xbox Game Pass in the future. But for the game’s release? Well, sorry to disappoint some fans out there, but it doesn’t look like the game will be immediately released for Game Pass.

We say this because in a tweet from the official Life is Strange Twitter about the game’s release times, the platforms included were all accounted for outside of the Nintendo Switch – which is said to be coming out later this year. Nowhere did it mention that Life is Strange: True Colors will be releasing on the Xbox Game Pass.

Bear in mind that this doesn’t mean that the game won’t appear on the Game Pass in the future, but that it simply won’t be for release.

Life is Strange: True Colors will release on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC, Google Stadia, GeForce NOW on September 10th, 2021. A Nintendo Switch version will release later on this year.
