Life is Strange Remastered Collection delayed to 2022
The Life is Strange Remastered Collection offers players the opportunity to jump into the original adventure that sparked such a love for the series in the first place, but now there’s just one small problem – the game is now delayed.
The update comes from the official Life is Strange Twitter account, which notifies fans that while Life is Strange: True Colors and Life is Strange: Wavelengths – a standalone DLC starring lesbian character Steph Gingrich – is still on track for September 11th and September 30th, the original game won’t be.
The Life is Strange Remastered Collection is delayed across multiple platforms, including PC, PlayStation, Switch, Stadia, and Xbox. But don’t worry, that doesn’t mean you’ll have too long to wait – the game is said to be officially released sometime in early 2022.
“Due to the ongoing challenges of the worldwide pandemic, we want to alleviate any additional pressure on the Life is Strange team by giving more time between the release of Life is Strange: True Colors and the Life is Strange Remastered Collection,” the Twitter statement reads. “For this reason, we have made the difficult decision to delay the release of the Life is Strange: Remastered Collection for all platforms. [] We hope you understand.”
