LGBT Games you can play on Xbox

LGBT games on the Xbox might not be as all-encompassing as you might think because, in spite of the title, we’re only covering games that you can either purchase on the Xbox Store for the Xbox Series X/S and the Xbox One, or games that are available to play on those consoles via the Xbox Games Pass. Hey, we never said we were perfect…

We’ve recently published LGBT games you can find on the PS4 and PS5, as well as one for the Nintendo Switch. We’re most likely going to do a guide for the PC too, but considering the variety of storefronts out there for the PC in comparison to the Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch… You’ll probably need to give us a little bit of time for that one.

We understand that despite us listing all of the LGBT games you can play on Xbox, it doesn’t necessarily tell you why these games are LGBT. We understand the importance of you playing games that actually matter to you, so we’ve decided to create a small key that’ll help convey what makes the game even vaguely queer – and yes, we’ll be implementing this key for our previous guides too.

It’s also important to note that this guide is a work-in-progress, and isn’t currently complete. We appreciate both your patience and your collaboration if we’ve missed any that you think deserves mentioning.

Without further ado…

KEY
  • * – Queer protagonist (this includes player created characters and playersexuality)
  • / – Queer NPCs (this includes small NPCs that you may only meet once)
  • $ – Inclusive character creator (allows creation of non-binary and/or trans characters)
  • ! – Allows queer customization (LGBT decals/cosmetics)
