Dead by Daylight celebrates its 4th Anniversary with 2-week event
Behaviour Interactive really hit the jackpot with Dead by Daylight, with the asymmetrical horror game celebrating its fourth anniversary with a special event. While, usually, the game is very grim and dark, for the next two weeks, survivors and killers alike will have the chance to celebrate.
Dead by Daylight players have recently been gifted with a new killer and survivor in Pyramid Head and Cheryl Mason, characters from Konami’s horror series, Silent Hill. It was a surprise that left many fans hyped for the future of Dead by Daylight, and if this new event for the anniversary is any indication, it looks like big things are out on the horizon.
On the official Dead by Daylight blog post, Behaviour have confirmed the details of what this new anniversary event will be about. From June 2rd to July 7th, a new time-limited mechanic will be introduced to the game: The Anniversary Crown. Once you find the crown, you’ll get a golden glow. Survive the trial as an original survivor, or end the trial as an original killer, and you’ll be granted a golden crown as a reward.
Other rewards will be granted as you log into the game, including new cosmetics, charms, and items. We’re pretty excited to get started on this new adventure in the Fog – are you?
