Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot takes the lead in the UK

It’s been so long since I’ve sat down and watched an episode of Dragon Ball Z, despite really enjoying myself right from the get-go, that when Kakarot was released I was half-tempted to grab it and play it all just so I could continue ‘watching’ in a much more interactive way.

I haven’t just yet, but that hasn’t stopped the rest of the UK from jumping on their Kinto Un and purchasing Bandai Namco’s latest video game. Not only has it appeared on the UK charts, but it’s taken the lead, pushing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare off its pedestal.

Kakarot has joined Bandai Namco’s other video game series, The Witcher 3. The Witcher 3 was first released back in 2015, but thanks to Netflix’s The Witcher, a wave of new and returning players have started the game up again and it’s amazing that it joined the UK charts once more. You could say it’s a very good start of the year for Bandai Namco.
