Star Wars Battlefront 2 The Rise of Skywalker trailer is released
Why hello there Star Wars fans. Surprising nobody, Star Wars Battlefront 2 the Rise of Skywalker includes a variety of cool new things, such as weapons, as well as new skin cosmetics for your favourite characters like Rey, Finn and Kylo Ren.
Star Wars fans knew due to previous movie iterations that Battlefront 2 would most certainly be getting an update somewhere down the line. EA had done this for the Solo movie after all, and back during Battlefront 1 where Rogue One’s Jyn Erso was added.
However unlike the previous movies, no hero characters will be added with this new update. A shame really, considering that there are some awesome new characters being added in The Rise of Skywalker. But hey, who knows what the future holds?
But not all is lost. You’ll get new updated looks yes, but players will also be rewarded with a brand new jungle-like map – who’s name has yet to be revealed – as well as additional reinforcement units. These units are the Jet Trooper, as well as the Sith Trooper. Which, as you would expect, is a trooper but red. Very cool.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 came out in 2017 and went through a pretty rough patch straight away thanks to its focus on microtransactions and how it made the game pay-to-win. Since then, however, the game has only evolved into something beautiful and a worthy successor of the Battlefront series that we know and love from the past.
