Reapers can destroy the galaxy as long as Jacob Taylor is there

Imagine it’s the somewhat distance future and you’re working on a spaceship in the Milky Way Galaxy. Suddenly, your shuttle-craft is rocked by an explosion and your commander gets on the intercom to alert you of an enemy attack. Reapers are laying siege to your vessel and your defences aren’t equipped for this type of assault.

All looks lost… until members of the Systems Alliance fly into battle to save the day. After the fight, the doors to your ship opens…And in walks Jacob Taylor.

Jacob Taylor is a central character in the Mass Effect franchise, who appears in the Mass Effect: Foundation comic series, prequel Mass Effect: Galaxy, and console games Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3. His role in the games vary depending on which installment you play, but he’s always a hero working alongside either Commander Shepard or Miranda Lawson. His powers and skill-set vary as well, but he’s almost always proficient in heavy pistols and explosives. Oh, and did I forget to mention that Jacob is also pretty frickin’ hot? What a man.

That voice, that smile, that body he hides under all that armor. Jacob is masculine perfection – the only thing he’s missing is a bigger butt. And what’s better is that he’s a warrior with a heart of gold, and a brass set of balls (figuratively and literally, probably). While Jacob is unfortunately absent from Mass Effect: Andromeda, creators of the game have stated they hope for a sequel sometime in the future. Is it too much to write in requests that Officer Taylor returns for another go or three? Until then, check out a juicy scene of romance in the clip below.

Maybe I should play Mass Effect 3 before my husband gets home.

A heavy risk, but the prize…
