Bagel Bonanza! Bakery Biz Tycoon Opens on Steam
Earlier this week I reported that a fast food simulator is coming to Steam, and now there’s news that you can run your own bakery. With so many food games being talked about, I’m salivating all over my keyboard. I’ll take twenty cinnamon buns, please.
Bakery Biz Tycoon has come a long way, both figuratively and metaphorically. It was developed by independent Polish company Bango.Games and was created as a completely grassroots project. Bango’s first official release, Bakery Biz Tycoon is now available on Steam as an early access stream. You can play the first map in the game to hold off your hunger until the full version drops later this summer.
Described as a business simulator, Bakery Biz Tycoon looks to be taking a more strategy and mathematical approach to its gaming appeal. Sure, it’s fun to turn off your brain and enjoy something mindless for a time, but imagine learning a thing or two about managing a real business; including statistics, net profits and promotional costs. Well, you get that experience in Bakery Biz Tycoon.
In Bakery Biz Tycoon, you start by inheriting a modest bakery from your grandfather in a city named Middelton. Over time, you’ll acquire new customers and expand your store; eventually going as far as monopolizing your company and turning it into a chain store.
Expand your bakery to three unique cities, discover new delicious goods and release new products, manage the warehouse that holds all your supplies, compete in regional events and become the most talked about bakery in your county!
