NYC Gaymer Pride is back for 2025

NYC Gaymers’ 2025 Gaymer Pride event is back for a sixth year on May 31st at the Museum of the Moving Image in Queens.

This year, NYC Gaymers will be expanding on the successes of past years and producing NYC’s Third Annual Pride celebration focused on games and the communities we forge around them: Gaymer Pride!

Starting in 2020, as an online convention styled after an anime summer festival, NYC Gaymers sought to keep NYC’s LGBTQIA+ community connected during one of its most isolated times through gaming and other fun activities. Each year after, the team has continued to bring together merchants, developers, non-profits, community groups, and so many others across the LGBTQIA+ community to create a space where they can interact, have fun, and celebrate Pride & gaming!

NYC Gaymers are partnering with National and New York City based game houses, community groups and corporate sponsors to produce an in person event with online programming to include community members from further afield who can join in on the fun from their own homes around the world.

Featuring special guest Megami (RuPaul’s Drag Race), the main event will be taking place on Saturday May 31st, 12-7pm, at the Museum of the Moving Image in Queens. There will then be a Pride Afterparty at ICON Astoria where the fun continues into the night!

Sign-ups are now available for volunteers, tables for community partners & game developers, and stage artists & performers – head to linktr.ee/OfficialNYCG for the sign-up forms, or scan the QR code below.
