Small business sim Sticky Business is out now
On Monday, developer Spellgarden Games and publisher Assemble Entertainment announced that their small business, sticker-making sim, Sticky Business, is now available to play on PC via Steam.
In Sticky Business, players create their own online sticker shop. Using the game’s thousands of customization options, you’ll design stickers to sell. Once you’ve posted your creations on your storefront, customers will start placing orders. With orders submitted, you will have to pack up the stickers and ship them out to your customers. After receiving their orders, your customers may send you messages letting you know how your stickers impacted their lives. They may even send you personal stories about their orders.
Beyond designing and selling your stickers, you can also customize your online storefront, upgrade your stickers by using your experience points from previous orders, and manage your behind-the-scenes sales data. The more stickers you create and deliver, the more design options and different customers you will encounter. Sticky Business also has a special mode specifically for streamers. While playing in this mode, a streamer’s audience can place orders to the streamer’s store, which the streamer can then fulfill.
Spellgarden Games is a three-person independent games studio that is focused on creating “cozy and quirky games with a focus on relaxing gameplay and diverse stories and characters.” This team has a few projects in the works, but is probably most well-known for the Cartomancy Anthology — “a collection of introspective and compact digital experiences presented together in a virtual tarot deck” that released in August of last year.
Sticky Business is available now for PC via Steam. The game is currently on sale for 10% off to celebrate its launch, dropping its price from $9.99 to to $8.99.
