Harvest Stories update comes to Cat Cafe Manager
On Friday, Cat Cafe Manager announced the release of its second free update, Harvest Stories. This update is focused on autumn/Halloween time, of course, and will add more story to the game while allowing you to bring your cat café outside.
With this update, when players reach the third Shrine renovation event, they’ll meet a new character named Hoover. Hoover runs the Curiosities Shop, where players will be able to buy the new furniture type, Friendship Furniture. By placing Friendship Furniture in your café, you can have friends come over to hang out and do activities like playing the Kittens and Kaverns tabletop RPG, telling ghost stories around the campfire, or learning about the town’s history through Gran’s Photo Book. Hanging out with your friends will allow you to experience the new story elements added by this update.
The update is also bringing Outdoor Floor Tiles to the game, which will allow players to build outside of the cafe in addition to the indoor seating. There are also two new furniture sets: the Spooky Harvest set, and the Summer Beach set. Using these sets will allow you to establish the vibe your café is looking for.
Cat Cafe Manager Harvest Stories is also bringing some quality of life improvements to the game. A “re-adopt” option has been added so players can take cats back into the cafe after the main story has finished. The update also balanced out recipe and ingredient costs in the later game. And, of course, there were several bug fixes in this patch as well, including several visual issues, a menu crashing bug, and more.
Cat Cafe Manager and the Harvest Stories update are available on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch.
