Chorus gameplay sneak peek shows off The Minotaur Song

We need a musical videogame in our life, and thankfully David Gaider, the creative director of new studio Summerfall Studios, and Liam Esler, managing director, are more than happy to oblige. As of today, they’ve released a Chorus gameplay sneak peek of a song that caught our interest: The Minotaur Song.

The song first appeared in the game’s announcement trailer on Fig, where you’re able to see various amounts of updates on the game, as well even spend some of your hard-earned cash on funding the game too if you so wish.

In the announcement trailer, we see protagonist Grace go up against the minotaur just by using the power of her voice. She gets three options, a more determined, red option, a diplomatic option and an option where she can beg for her life. Whichever you pick, the song will then change to fit your choice.

In this newest sneak peek, we’re given much more context about what’s happening in this fight. It seems as though protagonist Grace is in a sewer-like area and has managed to get lost, as one would in a sewer. Before she can figure something out for herself however, the dreaded Minotaur appears behind her.

And as we know, straight after that, a battle of lyrics commences and us gays scream because, you know, musicals!

We don’t know much more about the situation Grace finds herself in at this point, but what we do know is that Grace’s circumstances are not so good. She’s been accused of murder, her vocalist is dead, and she’s now her soul. Oh, did we mention her dead vocalist is a Muse? Well, now you know.
