Rayman returns only on Apple Arcade 19 September
Gaymers haven’t seen Rayman since the release of mobile’s Rayman Adventures in 2015. Well, that’s all about to change this Friday, 19 September 2019, as Apple gets ready to launch Apple Arcade and its exclusive titles including Rayman Mini. For a $5 monthly subscription, iOS users have access to Apple Arcade’s catalog of over 100 titles, which will eventually crossover to the iPad, Apple TV and Mac.
Here’s what we know about Rayman Mini!
Sources are reporting that Rayman Mini is a side-scrolling platform mixed with running style adventure. Players will find Rayman shrunk to the size of an ant and forced to escape an environment not suited for his tiny stature. Developed by Ubisoft Montpellier and Pastagames, the goal of Rayman Mini is to complete 48 unique levels as quick as possible; with replay options available to better your score.
Basically, Rayman Mini will be one of the games you play when you’re bored. A time waster and an old friend returning? Sign me up!
Speaking of a returning friend, Rayman Mini will also give you the ability to transverse the world as Rayman, Barbara or Globox – all the characters you know and love! And as stated by Polygon, they’ll use insects, mushrooms and plants to their advantage while running marathons. Face epic bosses and unlock surprise outfits to customize your characters in Rayman Mini, coming to Apple Arcade on 19 September 2019.
