The best gaming deals in online stores for when you’re stuck inside

While we’re all stuck inside with nothing to do, the big gaming companies have given us an excuse to sit in and play video games all day – big sales! We’ve collated the best deals on each store below. Trust us, there are some absolute steals at the moment!

PSN Store

Sony have launched their Mega March sale with loads of price drops on massive games. There are some big-hitters here like Bloodborne, The Witcher 3 and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy all for under £10, while Overcooked 2, Dead By Daylight, Assassins Creed Origins and Resident Evil 2 have all been reduced to very appealing prices. That alone is more than enough to keep you occupied.

Microsoft Store

Of course on Xbox, there’s plenty available on Game Pass. But if you’re looking for more deals, then Deals with Gold is worth checking out: Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order, Monster Hunter World, and the entire Resident Evil series are all reduced – maybe play them all before the Resi 3 Remake release?

Steam

Firstly on Steam, you should be checking out the Steam Game Festival: Spring Edition for free demos of 40+ unreleased games – a chance to see what you’ll be playing in the coming months. After that, Steam has similar reductions on Ubisoft titles (Assassins Creed Odyssey is free!), Monster Hunter and the Resident Evil games, plus Disco Elysium, Borderlands 3, the Darksiders franchise and indie ninja game The Messenger (a steal at just £7).

Nintendo

Nintendo rarely drop the prices of their big name games – and let’s face it, you’ll be playing Animal Crossing for the next year alone. But there are still some impressive savings on the eShop. Octopath Traveller has a massive 50% off, Final Fantasy VII is only six quid – just in time for the Remake release – plus reductions on VIII, IX, X and XII. And as ever, there are some hidden gems for just a couple of quid if you delve a little further.

itch.io

Last up, and most impressive of all, are the indie games available on itch.io. Not just reduced – but free. There are far too many to go through here but at that non-existent price, just give it a go right? Not everything is free of course, but there are still some great reductions – may we suggest Night In The Woods at just £12?
