Queer Tarot comes to Flick Solitaire on June 1st
Queer Tarot by Ego Rodriguez is a reimagining of the tarot tradition through the lens of queer identity, pop culture, and the artist’s love of symbology, history, and myth. This new deck launches June 1st in the cult mobile hit Flick Solitaire – a stunning reimagining of classic card games, where indie art meets calming gameplay.
The Queer Tarot deck was built around four original suits, or houses, each with their own Major Arcana (representing archetypal characters) and Minor Arcana (other symbols):
Eyes: Vision, Insight, Wisdom, Knowledge
The house of seeing, not only yourself, but also others. Eyes help you make sense of what’s before you and what lies ahead: learning, foresight, and self-awareness. This is where observation becomes transformation.
Hearts: Love, Devotion, Emotion, Connection
The emotional core. Hearts explore intimacy, yearning, and the many shades of affection, from romantic longing to chosen family and the quiet work of self-love.
Bolts: Power, Defiance, Rebellion, Activism
Bolts strike with energy and purpose. This house channels the spirit of the artist, the activist, the defiant. It’s about making noise, shaking systems, and claiming space through action.
Diamonds: Visibility, Strength, Radiance, Presence
If Eyes is about seeing others, Diamonds is about wanting to be seen. Owning your light, stepping into focus, and using visibility as a force for empowerment. It’s confidence with sparkle and grit.
Queer Tarot is to read not just your future, but your becoming, through archetypes remade, identities affirmed, and magic made beautiful.

Flick Solitaire features 60+ collectable decks illustrated by diverse artists which turns solitaire into an interactive art gallery and a low-pressure daily ritual. This queer tarot deck is a celebration of colour, meaning, and storytelling. I wanted to create something that showcases insight, feeling, fight, and pride: all essential parts of the queer experience. Each card features different characters and elements that reflect the diverse stories and symbols of our community. My hope is that this deck offers connection, reflection, and a reminder of the vibrant strength we carry within us.
