Gayming Awards LGBTQ Streamer Rising Star Class of 2024 revealed
Ahead of the Gayming Awards 2024 which return on June 25th, we’re excited to reveal this year’s LGBTQ Streamer Rising Star Class of five awesome, up-and-coming streamers.
The LGBTQ Streamer Rising Star Class of 2024 celebrates queer content creators who are starting to make their mark in the streaming world. This year, the Class includes Twitch streamers DEVOGLAER, PearlTeese, SimplyAretha, sinarynn and Sukar Baba.
As well as being named in the Class, they will also benefit from a major prize package from sponsor Logitech G, including the ASTRO A30 headset, G502 X Plus mouse, G840 XL mousepad, and G915 keyboard. Plus, they will get an invite to join the Gayming Ambassadors and take a leading role in this year’s Gayming LIVE.

DEVOGLAER
DEVOGLAER is a TV and Podcast producer, voice actor, and horror media analyst best known as the Supervising Producer of The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula. The glitch demon has now taken his horror obsession to the video game streaming world!
PearlTeese
PearlTeese, the Blasian babe trans goddess from San Francisco, is a mental health advocate and the founder #HausOfTeese. When she isn’t entertaining the masses day in and day out, she enjoys being a variety streamer in all the moments in between performing as a showgirl.
SimplyAretha
SimplyAretha is an Indigenous, Ace/Demisexual filmmaker and content creator. As the founder of Ready Up Productions Inc., Aretha utilizes film to address pressing Indigenous issues. Aretha ventured into online content creation, exploring gaming and streaming to connect with communities and advocate for Indigenous voices. She is the Community Manager for The Four Directions, an all-Indigenous Stream Team, Co-founder of the Twitch Indigenous Alliance, and member of Twitch Women’s Guild.
sinarynn
Sinarynn is an Indonesian based V-Tuber who loves to stream a variety of games from RPGs to first person shooters. Like her namesake “sinar” in Bahasa Indonesia, she aims to bring a bit of “light” to her audience’s day. She is also a member of the Twitch Women’s Guild.
Sukar Baba
Sukar, spice and everything nice. These were the ingredients chosen to create a perfect drag king streamer! The Arab drag king, Sukar Baba, is a design educator and art lecturer by day and describes themselves as a “disaster all other times”. This hilarious entertainer enjoys fanfiction, K-pop, and anime as well as playing horror and narrative driven games. Sukar is also a member of Team Stream Queens and the Twitch Women’s Guild.
