The Expanse: A Telltale Series is now available on Steam

On Monday, Telltale announced that its The Expanse: A Telltale Series game (co-developed by Deck Nine Games) is now available to purchase and download via Steam.

The Expanse: A Telltale Series takes place before the award-winning TV show of the same name. It follows Camina Drummer, the XO of a scavenger ship and crew who are hunting for a mysterious treasure on the edge of an area called The Belt. She is played by the same actress who portrays her on the TV version of The Expanse, Cara Gee.

Like any Telltale game protagonist, Camina must navigate challenging decisions with lasting consequences. She will also meet various characters with strong personalities, and have to deal with the outcome of a bloody mutiny. During her time exploring and treasuring hunting, Camina can scour shipwrecks, walk on walls and ceilings using mag-boots, and use Zero-G thrusters to explore areas of open space. These sections are “largest and most immersive exploration of any Telltale game to date.”

A bonus episode for this game, called Archangel, is also available on Steam, and provides a new perspective on the events of the rest of The Expanse: A Telltale Series. This episode follows Chrisjen Avasarala, Secretary-General of the United Nations (played by Shohreh Aghdashloo), through one fateful day in her life. Players will get to shadow Chrisjen as she deals with other politicians and manages inter-solar system conflicts, while simultaneously dealing with family drama.

Fans of The Expanse can check out all six of its Telltale game episodes now on Steam.
