Penny Larceny: Gig Economy Supervillain releases on PC this July

Penny Larceny: Gig Economy Supervillain will be super punching its way to release for PC on July 25.

Developed by Fiction Factory Games, the creators behind LGBTQ+ inclusive visual novel Arcade Spirits, the developers are also excited to announce that Penny Larceny will also offer a demo to players during the upcoming Steam Next Fest this June.

But what is Penny Larceny? A heist-based visual novel, chock full of heroes, villains, masks, and the most important asset ever: capes! In this game, players assume the role of a troublesome inside the head of a master thief – Penny Larceny themself!

It’s up to the player whether you’ll be Penny’s angel or devil as they take on the gig economy one crappy job at a time. Even so, your influence will push and/or pull Penny in different directions when it comes to strategizing each criminal escapade. Will you save the world, or will you be the one wielding the world’s metaphorical head on a stick, evil laugh and all.

As to be expected from Fiction Factory Games, Penny Larceny will include a diverse and LGBTQ+-friendly cast full of both heroes, villains, and their adorable sidekicks. You can forge romantic relationships or platonic friendships with your villainous allies, regardless of their gender or sexual orientation, making each playthrough an inclusive one!

Penny Larceny will also provide multiple branching paths and endings, giving players the chance to experiment with different choices and witness fresh experiences.

Stefan Gagne of Fiction Factory Games further emphasized, “Penny Larceny has a comprehensive range of accessibility options that will allow anyone to pick up and play. Our goal is always to take down barriers and let everybody enjoy our stories to the fullest!”

Penny Larceny: Gig Economy Supervillain will be available on PC via Steam on July 25.
