Romancelvania releases on PC and console in March

Romancelvania, an upcoming game from developer The Deep End Games has confirmed it’ll be coming to PC and console on March 7, 2023.

Who doesn’t love a good ol’ Metroidvania, especially one that combines a gothic-horror setting, but with an added dash of camp? That pretty much sums up Romancelvania is all about, so no wonder it did so well when the developers first teased it to the world via Kickstarter.

But it isn’t just your age-old Metroidvania… Romancelvania combines action, adventure and, get this, romance. Don’t act so surprised about that last one, you will be playing Count Dracula after all. Unfortunately Dracula has been going through a rough patch and is looking for something or someone to inspire them. Sucking people’s blood for thousands of years and mindlessly killing can get a bit dull, after all.

Thankfully Dracula’s best friend, the Grim Reaper (because of course), is around and eager to help Dracula out by giving them something spicy to get part of. A dating show! Dracula may not be eager to suck on his victim’s necks lately, but perhaps something else could help?

There are multiple love interest for Dracula to get to know more of throughout the game, and what’s more, you’re even able to change the character’s gender, just in case Lady Dracula is more your style.

Romancelvania launches on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC when it releases March 7, 2023.
