My Time at Portia devs reveal Let’s School
On Friday Pathea Games, the developers behind management sims My Time at Portia and My Time at Sandrock, announced their next game Let’s School, which will come out on PC in early 2023.
In Let’s School, players take on the role of the head teacher at the school they used to attend, which has fallen on hard times. Players have full control over the school, from its initial construction to day-to-day operations. There are multiple different kinds of facilities you can choose from and tons of different equipment to help students learn better. The ultimate goal is to have your students do well on their final exams to secure more funding for the net year.
Students and the staff have their own interests and preferences that can impact your decisions as the head teacher in charge. You get to decide which activities the school will have, along with meetings, morning exercises, and clubs that are available. To maintain the reputation of the school and make sure student life is balanced and happy, you should take your students’ personalities and relationships into account when deciding on programming. Teachers can also get stressed out, so be sure to monitor their stress levels while you play. Let’s School also features dynamic seasons and has random events like emergencies to keep things interesting.
“Let’s School is a bit of a departure from what the world knows us for, but after being prototyped by our producer Lanka for 18 months everyone at the studio just fell in love with the project,” said brand manager Alice Zhou. “Since then the team has grown substantially to a handful of developers and we’re been blown away by what they’ve been able to achieve. Any fans of management sims are going to get a big kick out of this one.”
