Apex Legends just confirmed Fusehound is real

Respawn has never been shy when it comes to including LGBTQ+ relationships and characters within the boundaries of its battle royale game, Apex Legends. We’ve had the very tense love triangle between Loba, Bangalore and Valkyrie, the reveal of several other queer Legends, and now (finally) the confirmation that Fusehound is the next big couple to come to Apex Legends.

Relationships, romantic or otherwise, make up a lot of the lore that surrounds the Apex games. Octane and Lifeline are childhood friends, Wraith and Mirage has something going on that we’re still not too sure about, Rampart is everyone’s bestie (as she should be), and before last week, Fuse and Bloodhound were good friends. Yes. Friends.

But not anymore. Or at least, not now that Apex Legends have confirmed that Fusehound do love one another in their latest video shared on the game’s official Twitter.

The confirmation that Fusehound is very real has set the internet ablaze, with the voice actors of both Bloodhound and Fuse celebrating the couple coming together. Gays, we don’t say this too often, but we won.

When Fuse was first released last year in Season 8, he made quite the impression as a quick-talking, free-loving spirit who was down to smack a butt or two. His relationship with Bloodhound started off pretty shaky too, but as the seasons went on the two have only got closer with more and more voicelines and hints that they share romantic feelings for one another.

Now with him and non-binary icon Bloodhound sharing a kiss and getting together, what will this mean for these two character’s future? We don’t know, but we can’t wait to find out.
