Bugsnax and the Isle of Bigsnax to release on Xbox and Nintendo Switch

“Kinda bug, kinda snax” is the cutesy theme song behind Young Horses (OctoDad: Dadliest Catch) whimsical snack catching adventure, Bugsnax. It’s a real earworm, and now Xbox and Nintendo Switch players will be able to experience it for themselves when Bugsnax releases on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and Steam on April 28th. Bugsnax will also be coming to Xbox Game Pass for Xbox, Windows 10, and the Cloud.

But it isn’t just the original game that will be making its way to all these new platforms (including Game Pass) – oh no! Bugsnax’s free content update, The Isle of Bigsnax, will also arrive on the same day – meaning you can jump right into the new stuff Young Horses has on offer, including new trophies and achievements that are included with the new update.

Bugsnax is a fun, unconventional and quaint adventure where players explore a mysterious body of land called Snaktooth Island. On this island, there are creatures that are described as “half snack and half bug”, something which delights you and the other curious characters who want to know more. It may seem far too adorable at first, but Bugsnax asks you to solve the mysteries of Snaktooth Island, like ‘what happened to Lizbert? What are Bugsnax and where do they come from?’ and so much more.

As for Bugsnax’s newest adventure, the Isle of Bigsnax has plenty of content for gamers to work through, ranging from 3 to 4 hours, to even more if you want to do everything. More importantly, Yuri Lowenthal, Casey Mongillo, Debra Wilson, and Haviland Stillwell are returning to voice the respective characters fans have all grown to love. You can never have too much of a good thing.

As you continue your journey on the Isle of Bigsnax, you’ll find out more about new and exciting Bugsnax, as well as new mysteries to discover. There will be even more new things to do, such as new mail quests from the grumpuses to complete, fashionable and snazzy hats to acquire for your favourite snax, and if that doesn’t catch your eye… you’ll even get your very own hut to decorate! Who doesn’t love a hut to call home?

Bugsnax will be arriving on Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Windows 10, and Steam on April 28th for $24.99 USD with a 20% off launch discount.
