LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga DLC brings The Mandolorian cast into the fold
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is only a month away from being released, but today it has been released by Lucasfilm Games that DLC for the hotly-anticipated game will bring some very familiar faces to the exciting saga.
The Skywalker Saga will include several DLC packs, offering players a solid range of incredible playable characters from across the galaxy. What’s more, the majority of these characters will be from outside the nine films, meaning that your favourites from live-action and animated series will have their own chance to shine during this new and exciting LEGO game.
The first and second DLC pack, which will be available to purchase for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga at launch, will be character packs from The Mandolorian Season 1 and Solo: A Star Wars Story. The former pack will include the Mandalorian and a non-playable Grogu, Greef Karga, Cara Dune, IG-11 and Kuiil, whilst the latter will have a young Han Solo, young Chewbacca, young Lando Calrissian, Qi’ra, Tobias Beckett, and Enfys Nest. The Mandolorian Season 2 pack will launch on May 4th and include Ahsoka Tano, Boba Fett, Bo Katan, Fennec Shand, and Moff Gideon.
Two other DLC packs will also be available at launch. The Classic Character Pack will include Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Darth Vader, and Lando Calrissian, however this pack will only be available at launch for players who have early access from select retail partners. Everyone else will have to wait for the pack to launch on April 19th. As for the other pack, known as The Trooper Pack, it will be accessible in early access for consumers who pre-ordered the digital version of the game, and available on May 4th for everyone else. The pack will contain Death Trooper, Incinerator Trooper, Range Trooper, Imperial Shore Trooper, and Mimban Stormtrooper. A trooper for all shapes and sizes!
If there are any Rogue One fans chomping at the bit for more content too, then you’re in luck! On April 19th, the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story character pack will be available for purchase, allowing you to add Jyn Erso, Bodhi Rook, Cassian Andor, K-2SO, Chirrut Îmwe, Baze Malbu, and Director Krennic to your roster.
It isn’t all just live-action love for these DLC packs, though. Another character pack that will also launch on Star Wars Day (aka May 4th) will be The Bad Batch, and will include Hunter, Wrecker, Tech, Crosshair, and Echo.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will release on April 5th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
