Date your best friend and rival in My Nemesis and Hero
In a new game from developer ChaniMK that we feel has walked right from our wildest daydreams (and our bookmarked list of fanfiction), My Nemesis and Hero follows the story of protagonist Kai as he stumbles upon the realization his childhood friends have a crush on him.
In this slice of life visual novel – where there is zero drama – players must choose how to portray Kai as he interacts with his two love interests. The first love interest is the nemesis in Kai’s life, Gavin; a playful and sly rival that has teased Kai since they were young children. It seems all he wanted was Kai’s attention, but the bullish Gavin has only succeeded in pushing people further away and Kai isn’t quite sure he wants to rekindle anything with his bully.
This leads us to the second love interest, the hero Percy and Kai’s best friend since childhood. Unlike Gavin, Percy has been with Kai from the start, defending him from school bullies and earning himself a place right at Kai’s side. He also has a secret crush on Kai, but his efforts have been mostly ignored due to Kai’s gullible and naive nature.
With two very different love interests, My Nemesis and Hero asks players to decide who they’ll pursue. Because this is a romantic visual novel, there are no bad endings. You’ll find love, no matter what and, if you make the right choices for it, you’ll even be able to pursue a polyamorous relationship with Percy and Gavin.
