Cyberpunk 2077 doesn’t lock you out of anything for being circumcised
Look, Cyberpunk 2077 may be trashy in ways of transphobia, racism, and sexism but even I had to withhold my disbelief at the possibility of the game locking out of things because you had a circumcised penis. And, as to be expected from listening to silly rumours online, it turns out that this particular rumour is as false as they come.
Released last Thursday, Cyberpunk 2077 has been met with an onslaught of questions that people are desperately trying to find answers for. It’s also been met with a ton of misinformation – we’re still trying to find out how romance even works, body type, voice, both? – that has led players down rabbit hole after rabbit hole.
Even so, one rabbit hole was due to a post going around on Steam about how a circumcised penis locked you out of romance options, and that characters even laughed at you for having one. This is, as explained by GameRevolution, absolutely false and seems to be rooted in spreading anti-semitic rhetoric online.
Not only do romance options not laugh at your penis, but your genitals also have no bearing on your romance options whatsoever. Nobody mentions them at all, so the rumour of nobody wanting to bed you for having a circumcised penis in Cyberpunk 2077 is as wild as it is ridiculous.
So yes, folks who have yet to play and are struggling on what their genitals are, it doesn’t matter which. Go wild with what genitals you want your character to have – they’ll clip through your clothes, regardless. Bug or feature? You decide.
