The Dead by Daylight Halloween event arrives October 21st
In our mind, Halloween wouldn’t be the same without the asymmetrical horror game, Dead by Daylight, putting on a spoopy event for players. Even if the world outside isn’t recognizable, in the Entity’s realm, it’s business and murder as usual.
It looks as though the game will continue the story of the Alchemist, aka The Blight throughout this event, too. In the previous Halloween event, survivors were tasked with extracting serum from Pestula Flowers in order to win extra points. These are coming back, alongside Blighted Hooks for killers, as well as some new items and add-ons that’ll make Dead by Daylight’s Halloween event feel as festive as possible.
There will even be a unique add-on that is just for Killers, something that the game has never done before during these events. The add-on is the Pestula Serum and, as explained by the developer’s livestream, it works a lot like The Blight’s Rush ability. After hooking a survivor, Killers will be able to rush forward and gain distance on a survivor but are unable to attack while using this ability – so use it wisely!
