Peaky Blinders: Mastermind comes to consoles and PC this August
As someone born and raised in Birmingham, the reveal of a Peaky Blinders game truly tickled me. As some of you may know, Peaky Blinders tells the story of Tommy Shelby, and his criminal family organization. Because nothing quite brings family together like crime!
In this game, developed by FuturLabs in collaboration with the production teams behind the actual Peaky Blinders TV show, you’ll be able to play as recognizable figures from the Shelby family, such as Ada, Arthur and of course, Tommy himself.
Taking place just before the very first season of the show, the Shelby family discover that there is a sinister plot that will put Tommy out of business. The only answer is, of course, to figure out what’s happening and use any means necessary to prevent it. This means stealth, brute force and tactics – with the latter being especially important. Players must think on their feet and strategize by taking control of the Shelby family members, but it isn’t as easy as doing everything one step at a time. The family members will be in sync, so while Ada could be flirting with a guard, Tommy will be nearby doing his own thing. Everything happens simultaneously – your choices matter.
