Eat All the tourists in Cannibal Cuisine

Cannibal Cuisine may be an off-putting title for gamers out there who, unlike myself, aren’t intrigued by cannibalistic rituals. But after watching the trailer, it’s safe to say that Cannibal Cuisine is just a meatier version of Overcooked.

The premise, as described by Cannibal Cuisine’s Steam page, is simple: The god Hoochooboo is hungry… for you. But as all good cannibal cooks know, serving is better than being served.

To appease your god, you’ll need to get creative. Thankfully, supplies have been kind: more and more tourists are coming to your island and well, a few quick chops to the head ought to do it. But it isn’t just mindless violence, oh no, you’ll need to get other ingredients and then prepare a meal that Hoochooboo will never forget.

It sounds easy, but just like Overcooked, the challenge lies in how well you and your friends work together. With local co-op as well as multiplayer, you and your fellow cannibals will need to do the utmost in order to satisfy your greedy patron. Though, whether you’ll be friends after all this is done, remains to be seen.

Cannibal Cuisine is set to release on the Nintendo Switch and PC on May 20th.
