Grand Theft Auto 5, aka GTA 5, is now free on the Epic Games Store. The game originally released back in 2013 and now, seven years on, it’s still going strong with a bustling community that only seems to get bigger and stronger as years go by. With it now being free on the Epic Games Store, we’re certain that more people are going to jump in on the action.
The news of GTA 5 going free until May 21st was originally found out on Wednesday night by Twitter user Wario64, who discovered that the Epic Games Store had accidentally put out an early tweet announcing the decision. They were quick to delete it, but Wario64 was faster and managed to snag the tweet before it was taken down.
Now it’s been officially confirmed, will you be grabbing GTA 5 for PC? The game is doing better than ever, and even if you’re not into the story, the multiplayer continues to thrive thanks to Rockstar Games near-constant updates.
