Tangle Tower, a murder mystery game, is out now!
We love a good murder mystery, and it seems the folks at SFB Games are more than willing to help us out by providing another game that fits the bill. Only Tangle Tower may be more mysterious than we first thought, as it includes a murder that may have been done by, uh, a painting?
You’ll follow detective duo Grimoire and Sally, partners that couldn’t be more different. Grimoire is hilariously serious, which matches just perfectly with Sally’s sass. Both of these key qualities will be needed as they investigate the murder of Freya, a young girl who seemingly was killed while painting, by her painting. This may seem bizarre, but it’s a look that Tangle Tower seems to be going for.
To find the truth, Grimoire and Sally will need to explore the strange, twisted mansion for themselves and the curiosities locked inside. They’ll also need to find clues and interrogate peculiar subjects to find out the truth. Oh, and did we mention puzzles? Lots and lots of puzzles.
For fans of SFB Games, this isn’t the first time they’ve heard of Grimoire or the incredible games made by them. Along with the digitally-painted world of Tangle Tower, the creative vision behind titles such as Detective Grimoire, Haunt the House, and Snipperclips is also part of this game. That’s more than enough to get us excited!
Tangle Tower is also fully voice-acted, meaning that you’ll get to know the characters you meet even further thanks to stellar voice acting. It feels very Addams Family, but without the catchy theme song to go with it.
