New information revealed about Gust’s Fairy Tail game
There’s a lot to love about Fairy Tail. It can be both cutesy, as well as heartwrenching, but it also has a touching story that many anime/manga fans have loved throughout the years.
Now, however, the best-selling manga and anime series by Hiro Mashima is coming to major consoles for the very first time.
Gamers will follow the spellbinding plot from “The Grand Magic Games” story arc – enabling gamers to re-live, or experience for the first time, the exciting episodes of this fan-favorite storyline. Not only will they be able to experience stories previously told in the manga and anime, but they will even be able to enjoy never before seen story and quest elements.
Guilds will also play an important part in Fairy Tail. Not only will you be earning experience in fighting monsters and completing various quests, but doing so will lead to character bonding scenarios. Because letting everyone know you love them is incredibly important. It will also provide options to upgrade the guild, and eventually raise your guild’s ranking.
But who will be joining you in your adventures? You’ll be able to form a party with over ten iconic characters, including fan favorites: Natsu Dragneel, Lucy Heartfilia, Gray Fullbuster, the fairy queen ‘Titania’, Erza Scarlet, and Wendy Marvell. Let’s hope other fan-favorites make an appearance too.

Fairy Tail is set to release on PC via Steam, as well as the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch sometime in 2020.
