Montreal-based studio Knight of Hearts has launched the Kickstarter campaign for Synthetic Lover, an 18+ queer sci-fi visual novel about a sex biot who becomes self-aware in a disastrous accident – and must reverse it before it’s too late.
Pursued by the Dollhouse that owns him, Unit 532’s quest leads him straight into the heart of a massive power struggle between mega corporations, rebel groups, black market agents, and his new companions who each have their own agenda for him and everything that he stands for.
Through two in-depth romance routes, you will help Unit 532 explore his newfound free will as he makes tough decisions, develops his relationships, and discovers what it means to become human.
