This is no easy feat — especially in a digital world where there are new creators every second — and speaks to not only each nominee’s talent, but their dedication to whatever talent sets them apart.
Each of these creators has a huge chance at winning the inaugural LGBTQ+ Breakout Creator Award, sponsored by Logitech G. Let’s learn more about them all now, and try to guess who’ll cap off their breakout year with a breakout win at the 2026 Gayming Awards!

When it comes to Pokémon, not many gamers in recent memory are as impressive as KyaColosseum.
This creator first gained attention with their famous nuzlocke runs; the Pokémon challenge where players must release their pokémon whenever they faint in battle. KyaColosseum has worked hard the past year to beat every kind of nuzlocke imaginable — even going on to win the first ever Pokémon Nuzlocke Invitational!
In a short amount of time, KyaColoseeum has risen to true fame in the Pokémon world, collaborating with renowned gamers like Valkyrie and making history as the first queer woman to stream a winning Run & Bun hardcore nuzlocke (one of the hardest challenges in this community). She’s quickly become one of the most prominent voices in this fandom, and she may just become this year’s LGBTQ+ Breakout Creator!

PhilipCroft
Being a popular content creator takes talent, time, and an understanding of how to succeed in the digital world — luckily for us all, Philipcroft has all that and more.
The queer variety streamer made a name for himself through various activities on stream, but found his niche through hilarious Tomb Raider and Dark Souls content. But what really sets Philipcroft apart is his digital finesse; his handle on social platforms like Twitch and TikTok have gained him thousands of new followers across various community spaces.
And this variety streamer is determined to use his platform for good, conducting numerous charity streams for causes like Trans Lifeline and Movember. Whether it’s his advocacy or digital strategy, PhilipCroft is a perfect model for how to be a successful creator — and it may just earn him the LGBTQ+ Breakout Creator Award!

RetroWolve
New fans may be confused when they first enter a RetroWolve livestream — because the creator puts so much effort into each gameplay it looks like he’s a part of the video game himself!
From playing Bayonetta in full cosplay to designing a ‘game within a game’ that lets viewers hunt for special items in the steam itself, RetroWolve is dedicated to making every livestream as immersive as possible. He’s become known for his creativity, as well as his kindness; the streamer hosts OBS workshops and other educational sessions to help small streamers improve their channels.
RetroWolve fully embraces every aspect of the livestream experience to make sure anyone who watches feels as excited as he does. It’s a refreshing passion in the often impersonal online world, and it’s what earned him a nomination for this year’s LGBTQ+ Breakout Creator Award!

TheFunkoBeard
TheFunkoBeard stands out not only because of his great streams, but his hard work at shaping Twitch into a platform where any gamer can thrive.
The creator has become a true leader in this community; he currently serves as a Stream for a Cause ambassador and is a member of Twitch’s Pride and Latin Guilds. He actively works to create new opportunities for marginalized creators, helping the platform become more inclusive and battle the discrimination that the gaming community still struggles with. But his advocacy doesn’t end with Twitch! Along with this online work, TheFunkoBeard has hosted many charity streams, tournaments, and even a full-fledged podcast to raise money for queer causes.
TheFunkoBeard fights every day to help make gaming more inclusive for us all. It’s clear why he has a real shot at winning this year’s LGBTQ+ Breakout Creator Award!

WillJinkies
Whether it’s the stage or the screen, WillJinkies always knows how to advocate for her communities.
An openly trans creator, the streamer has turned her channel into a resource hub for other queer folks; they speak openly on each stream about what she’s learned as an out LGBTQ+ person (while also showing off hilarious gameplay, of course). And when they aren’t streaming, WillJinkies works as an award-winning playwright making beautiful projects that help LGBTQ+ people feel seen.
Now more than ever, it’s important for creators like WillJinkies to stand up and speak about the joy that comes from being your authentic, queerest self. We’re lucky to have a voice like her in gaming, and we’re lucky to have her as a nominee for this year’s LGBTQ+ Breakout Creator Award.
