Confetti’s Cozy Corner – Lost & Found: A This Bed We Made Story

About two years ago, after completing my twentieth run-through of Low Birth Games This Bed We Made, I predicted what a sequel could look like. I stated I wanted to see Sophie and Beth’s story continue, but also was not overly attached to whether the characters changed, as long as the gameplay methodology remained the same. Keeping the mystery, problem solving, puzzles, and yes, the snooping.

My conundrum was recreating the pressure the environment had in This Bed We Made. The main reason all the drama was contained to the hotel was the blizzard outside, which kept everyone from leaving. A scenario that came to mind where people could not really come and go freely was a cruise ship. A hotel on the seas where all mechanics in This Bed We Made could exist!

So, imagine my surprise last week when the new title coming from Low Birth Games is Lost & Found: A This Bed We Made Story starring Sophie!

For days, a new game was teased with what I immediately knew to be a vinyl record. As an avid vinyl record collector, I hope for the possibility of a limited vinyl record release of This Bed We Made and Lost & Found: A This Bed We Made Story soundtrack.

It is now 1964, after the events of the Clarington Hotel, Sophie is working as a stewardess aboard the Orpheus, a transatlantic ship seemingly working towards a new beginning. However, that is interrupted when passengers’ personal items start going missing.

Sophie will have to rely on her skills of cleaning and snooping to get to the bottom of this mystery. The cruise ship environment is sure to cause the on-edge feeling we had in This Bed We Made. Small details will carry much weight as Sophie investigates the mysterious disappearances.

I am curious to meet Sophie’s co-workers and the passengers alike. I hope we get to see familiar faces like Beth and Andrew. Also, I wonder how much of the events of the previous title affect Sophie’s present day. I also hope to see more amazing queer representation, continued conversations about mental health, and work-life balance.

I am happy for the Low Birth Games team on their new upcoming title, Lost & Found: A This Bed We Made Story. I’ll be standing by for more information and you can wish list the game now on Steam.
