Latinx in Gaming arms aspiring professionals with gear & funds in annual grant program
Latinx in Gaming continues its support of rising game industry professionals with the kickoff of its fourth annual Grant Giveaway Program today.
The next generation of gaming industry greats can catapult their careers forward with Latinx in Gaming’s Grant Application Program, which has helped 200+ community members to date. Up-and-comers can apply via the Grant Application Form starting today until November 28th, 2024. Winners will be announced on Wednesday, December 4th, 2024.
Grant funds supplied by Amazon Web Services allow applicants to secure grants for up to $1,000 that can go towards advancing careers in game development. Cover travel costs to industry events, fund the purchase of a new workstation, or use grant money as a scholarship for advanced certification courses.
Thanks to Logitech, grant winners can also select from computer peripherals to aid with content creation such as new cameras, microphones, lighting setups, and much more. Check out Latinx in Gaming’s rules to learn more about the Grants 4.0 program here.

Established in 2018, Latinx in Gaming’s commitment to supporting industry professionals has earned them The Game Awards’ Global Gaming Citizen Award in 2020. Continuing its mission, Latinx in Gaming has awarded grants to more than100 gaming professionals in 2021 and 2022, further reinforcing its dedication to fostering diverse talent within the gaming industry.
