D3NEXT is the second annual cruise offering from D3atSea. It’s a more free-form version of the ultimate Tabletop Roleplaying experience where adventurers embark on an epic quest to the Caribbean!
Players set sail on a a quest to play multiple one-shots of the next big TTRPG systems alongside up-and-coming D3atSea Game Masters. D3atSea is a trailblazer in marrying the excitement of RPGs with the elegance of cruising, creating an unrivalled new genre of vacation!
D3atSea voyages are critically acclaimed, player-approved, and rife with legendary stories of seafaring sagas and camaraderie.
The 2025 D3NEXT cruise sets sail from Fort Lauderdale and takes players to Nassau and CocoCay in the Bahamas. This cruise leaves on March 10th and arrives back on March 14th.
Across your time on the ‘Liberty of the Seas’ ship, you can get hands on with new games and exciting new GMs to play with. Rotate through the line-up or join a private one-shot table and let the GMs teach you about new systems to expand your TTRPG horizons.
Alongside the gaming, there’s also an awesome selection of TTRPG-related activities including getting to re-home your old dice at the D3 dice exchange, watching a live-play with the D3 GMs, and even karaoke! For more information check out their website and the booking page.
Of course, even the most experienced adventurer needs downtime on their quest, and you have a whole ship of wonders to explore including world class food and entertainment. Plus, when you make port at these stunning destinations, you can take part in the organized group excursions or head out on your own self-guided exploration.
Overall, this is a community cruise, where you get to meet and spend time with other people who enjoy the same hobbies and live similar lifestyles as you do. Meet new friends and create new communities on board. Most evening you can join group dinners and mingle with other gamers who you have not yet gamed with.
Pricing
We know what you’re thinking, how much gold is this going to cost?
D3atSea Adventures come in two pricing tiers – Player and NPC (Non-Playing Companions).
Players get access to the TTRPG games with our GMs, all of our events and the exciting loot from our sponsors! NPCs will not have access to these things, but both tiers get access to an amazing vacation! Maybe your party has more NPCs than players, well that’s fine as there’s plenty of other players for you to meet and adventure with!
Player pricing starts at $1213 USD and NPC pricing starts at $913 USD. These prices do not include taxes and fees and are for inside cabins. Upgrades are available. Prices are likely to change rapidly depending on availability.
If you book early enough, then you can benefit from special pricing. D3’s pricing deals are a limited time offering and as it gets closer to the sail date, the cruise lines will increase pricing frequently and often unpredictably!
You don’t want to miss out on the best price available, so book as soon as you can! A deposit of $150 per person (double occupancy) is all that’s needed to lock in your early bird pricing!
It’s worth remembering that other TTRPG destination vacations don’t include lodging or free food and drink or alcohol. D3 organizers knew that they could give more and charge less for our community.
This adventure’s price is at least half the cost of other premium TTRPG event tickets + lodging. You also don’t have to pay to explore the cities or countries you’ll be visiting – you fly to a domestic port and then the adventure begins!
