Fans shouldn’t expect The Last of Us Season 2 until the end of 2024
While the first season of The Last of Us has only just finished its first season, that hasn’t stopped viewers from wondering when the next season will come knocking. And, as it turns out, Season 2 of The Last of Us could potentially come knocking as early as late 2024.
This news comes from Bella Ramsey, Ellie’s actor in HBO’s The Last of Us. As we learned via The Independent, they appeared on the Jonathan Ross show last Saturday (March 18), where Ramsey shared an update on when fans could expect to see the next part of Joel and Ellie’s story in Part 2.
“It will be a while. I think we’ll probably shoot at the end of this year, beginning of next,” Ramsey said. “So it’ll probably be the end of 2024, early 2025.” A whole two years away at most, so as it turns out, fans will need to be as patient as ever.
However, fans of the The Last of Us video game series already have plenty of ideas on what’s to come in late 2024, early 2025 thanks to The Last of Us Part 2. While we won’t spoil for first-time viewers, we can safely say that the next season of will be one they won’t fore-get.
