Here’s how to romance all Greedfall romance options
A few days ago we, rather tentatively, let you know who were the Greedfall romance options. Since then, the discovery of which romance options are actually available for your character (Siora, Vasco and Kurt for female De Sardet, Aphra, Vasco and Siora for male) have led us on a mission: how the hell do you actually romance these fine folk?
The secret lies in picking the right dialogue options and, of course, not being a raging asshole to them. You’ll also have to be aware that some of these companions do not take kindly to others – such as Aphra and Siora – so be aware when pairing certain characters together.
With that said, here is how to romance all of the romance options (sorry Petreus, you’re still cool) in Greedfall. As you should expect, there will be a few spoilers.
Siora
Siora is a very proud, strong individual that cherishes strength, as well as compassion for her fellow natives. To romance her, you can play as either a female or male De Sardet meaning that yes, she is a bisexual romance option. Romancing her will also increase De Sardet’s Vigor.
To romance Siora, you must complete the following quests and say the following dialogue.
- Find Queen Bladnid – “Tell her about having to say goodbye to your own mother.”
- Promises Set in Stone* – “Tell her it seems logical, given their culture.”
- The Queen’s Farewell – “Tell her that you would understand if she had to help her people.
*During this quest, do not allow yourself to be bribed as Siora will leave the party and thus, ruin your chance at romancing her.
If you do all this correct, the next time you meet Siora she’ll be eager to get a little closer.
Kurt
Kurt reminds me of Shrek, for he too has many layers that many will be afeared to try and peel from him. Jokes aside, Kurt is a cold man with a past that would make anyone cry. But he can be romanced all the same, but unfortunately only by a female De Sardet. Romancing him will increase De Sardet’s Craftmanship.
To romance Kurt, you must complete the following quests and say the following dialogue.
- Missing in Action – “Tell him that it was so that you could understand him better.”
- Amongst the Ghosts – “Tell him about a childhood memory with Constantin.”
- Settling Scores* – “Tell him you hope you will be a part of it.
*Kurt must be alive, and the coup must have already happened for this quest to occur.
If you’ve done this correctly, it’s time to burrow behind Kurt’s walls and see the kind of man he really is.
Vasco
Vasco has had a hard, but adventurous life. He may seem aloof at first, but if you play your cards right, he is more than willing to open up. Like Siora, Vasco can be romanced by both a male and female De Sardet, so is a bisexual romance option. If you romance him, De Sardet will get an increase in Intuition.
To romance Vasco, you must complete the following quests and say the following dialogue.
- A Name for a Family – “Ask him if he has any happy memories.”
- Family Reunion – “Tell him that this encounter allowed him to assert himself.”
- Forever a Naut – “Tell him that you wish you could sail with him again.”
If you do all of these things correctly, you’ll be able to show Vasco your pearl… Or, whatever other pirate innuendos you have up your sleeve.
Aphra
Aphra is a scientist and member of the Bridge Alliance and has the most intense, dreamy eyes. Uh, anyway. Unfortunately, Aphra is only able to be romanced by Male De Sardet, making her a heterosexual romance option. Romancing Aphra will increase Science.
To romance Aphra, you must complete the following quests and say the following dialogue.
- Islander Knowledge – “Talk to her about the two youths.”
- Cave of Knowledge – “Tell her that you feel as if you have learned a lot.”
- The Linking Ritual – “Tell her you hope that you will be a part of it.”
And that is that! Now that you have Aphra on your side, consider yourself the master of science and loooove.
