Catherine Full Body releases today
Catherine Full Body has been on our mind since it was first revealed, and we’re pleased to say that the wait for this game has come to an end. The original game first released back in 2011, which allowed players to step into the shoes of Vincent Brooks, an insecure 30-something man whose relationship with his girlfriend, Katherine, had gone stale.
His insecurities and his lack of commitment lead him to having a one-night stand with another woman, and with that, his life is thrown into turmoil in a way that can barely be described in a coherent, concise manner.
Vincent is also joined by a diverse cast of characters that are his friends, including Erica, one of the more controversial characters in the game due to how others perceive her as a transwoman.
However, Catherine Full Body has mixed things up for its release this year. Before Vincent only had the option to romance two women, this time however another romance has been added to the mix: a young individual called Rin, whom Vincent saves from being chased by a stalker.
We won’t spoil you about how Rin’s addition has changed the game, but if you find yourself curious and are interested in finding out more, check out Kenneth Shepard’s piece on Rin and the inclusion of queer relationships right here at Gayming Magazine.
Other new features involve ‘Auto’ mode, where the original Catherine’s puzzles can be skipped completely if you’d like to. That way if you’re only here for the romance, story, eating sushi and a ton of alcoholic knowledge, you won’t need to stress. Of course, if you want to have some difficulty, then the original game modes are still there.
Will you be getting Catherine for the PS4 and PS Vita? Don’t hesitate, grab the new and improved Catherine Full Body right now.
