Animal Crossing New Horizons Nature Day begins today
Animal Crossing New Horizons is getting it’s very own Nature Day event, and it starts today! We previously talked about what we could expect from the game in the upcoming future, with Nature Day being just the first of the many events coming our way.
If you boot up Animal Crossing today, you’ll be asked to update your game first. Do so, and the next time you wander on into town you’ll discover Leif and his garden shop have taken up residence just outside of the Town Hall.
Talking to Leif will let you have access to a range of different rare plants to add to your island, but what really stands out is the shrubs that he has on sale. He’ll also buy weeds off you for 20 bells a clump, which is much higher than the measly bells Timmy and Tommy give you over at Nooks Cranny.
Animal Crossing gives you more than enough reasons to take part in Nature Day too, because if you do, you’ll be able to earn more Nook Miles if you complete certain challenges. This can mean simply planting shrubs, or watering them. If you do well, Tom Nook even says you’ll earn a prize and I’m a sucker for prizes. Either way, you’re getting something out of taking part.
Nature Day starts today, April 23rd, and finishes on May 4th. That’s plenty of time for you to take part, and get all the Nook Miles you need to make your island look FABULOUS!
