Disco Elysium is coming to Nintendo Switch
Disco Elysium, created by ZA/UM, hasn’t only been winning the hearts of players since launch, but awards too. With such a positive reception to this game, it’s really no surprise that Disco Elysium will be coming to the Nintendo Switch.
Thanks to BBC 5live’s Game On podcast (via GamesRadar), it was revealed by Disco Elysium’s art director, Aleksander Rostov, that the game would be appearing on the Nintendo Switch. According to Rostov, he is currently working on the design documents for the user interface and how that would migrate over onto the Nintendo Switch.
There was no real confirmation on when we can expect Disco Elysium to appear on the Switch. However, as narrative lead Helen Hindpere put it, “it’s going to happen soon.” Soon doesn’t tell us exactly when, but if it’s another game that’ll keep us satisfied for hours during these troubling times, then sign us up for it.
ZA/UM’s RPG recently took home three awards at the 2020 BAFTA’s for both Narrative, Music and Debut Game. It also won four awards at The Game Awards 2019 — so we guess you could say this game is a bit of a big deal, yeah.
Disco Elysium is also coming to consoles like the Xbox One and PS4 sometime this year, as well. Whether the Switch port will be out at the same time, or not, remains to be seen.
