Tattoos have long been a form of permanent self expression that spans back hundreds of years. The art form has also evolved dozens of times since its inception, and over the last few years alone, we have seen many queer artists take the helm!
But what about the queer artists that do geeky and nerdy inspired tattoos? I have quite a few tattoos myself inspired by the worlds of Pokémon, Fallout, Mario, and more. I am sure several of you reading this might also have tattoos yourself inspired by your favorite fandoms.

Will is a tattoo artist based out of Brooklyn, NY who is one of the nerdiest tattoo artists I know, focusing on high contrast and low-poly blackwork. I’ve seen him tattoo so many different characters from so many different geeky fandoms that it’s hard to keep up! A true lover of Pokémon, Sonic, Digimon, and anime, I love the way he can make these black ink pieces pop as if they’re 3D. FLO is a tattoo artist based out of Los Angeles, CA who specializes in black and grey, color realism, and illustrative works. I am obsessed with that Leafeon on a Pokeball. The Gameboy and Nintendo DS ones are really cool too, and look at that My Hero Academia tattoo! Insanely awesome work, and she does so many other types of tattoos too. I cannot get enough of that custom sexy Gerudo from Zelda and the Daria as Divine pieces, those are insanely cool!
