RuPaul’s Drag Race Match Queen launches worldwide June 17, 2025

RuPaul’s Drag Race Match Queen, the new match-3 mobile game inspired by the Emmy Award-winning franchise, is now available for download on the App Store and Google Play ahead of its official global launch on June 17, 2025. In honor of Pride Month, the game is donating up to $25,000 to PFLAG to help fuel their critical work.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Match Queen features iconic queens from the series including Jinkx Monsoon, Envy Peru, Jimbo, Kim Chi and many more. Players can collect fabulous fashion pieces inspired by these queens and use them to compete in themed events and Toot & Boot challenges. Players can flex their puzzle-solving skills while werk-ing the runway in gag-worthy lewks, unlocking a treasure trove of outfits and accessories as they progress.

At launch, players can dive into an exclusive in-game season starring drag superstar Trixie Mattel, unlocking iconic looks and leveling up through themed fashion challenges. To celebrate, Trixie is also spotlighting the game in her latest Get Ready With Me video – blending drag, glam, and gameplay in true Trixie style.

Developed by East Side Games in partnership with World of Wonder and Funkitron, RuPaul’s Drag Race Match Queen was designed to reflect the vibrant personalities, resilience, and the heart of the Drag Race fandom, and the broader queer community. In a world where representation in gaming still has a long way to go, Match Queen is a step forward – bringing bold queer culture front and center in the casual gaming space, where it’s so often absent.

To mark Pride Month, the game is launching a philanthropic partnership with PFLAG National, the U.S.’s largest organization dedicated to supporting, educating, and advocating for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them. Through THIS special install link, the game (which is free to download and play) will donate $1 per install, up to $25,000, to help fuel PFLAG’s critical work.

While this initiative kicks off during Pride, it marks the start of a broader collaboration across the two partners; additional details will be announced soon.

“We are grateful to East Side Games Group and RuPaul’s Drag Race Match Queen for their Philanthropic Partnership,” said Brian K. Bond (he/him), CEO at PFLAG National. “At a time when so many companies and brands are moving back as partners to LGBTQ+ organizations, they have come in with new support of our mission to create a caring, just, and affirming world for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them. We are excited to partner with them, not just for Pride, but in an ongoing effort—we look forward to our work together!”
