Qweerty Gaymers reveal Beyond Pixels mixer at GDC with Pearl Teese hosting
Qweerty Gamers’ LGBTQIA+ GDC mixer ‘Beyond Pixels’ returns on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at 7pm, hosted by Gayming Ambassador, Pearl Teese.
GDC 2025 is just days away, beginning March 17th, 2025 in San Francisco, California through to March 21st. As with all games industry events, there’s a huge number of mixers, meet-ups and parties being thrown alongside the main conference.
Our friends at Qweerty Gamers are back with their annual mixer Beyond Pixels, bringing rainbow glamour to GDC centred around a laid-back evening of networking, queer gaming, and entertainment celebrating queer representation in video games. Qweerty Gamers provides LGBTQIA+ resources, support, and networking access to advance visibility and representation in the global gaming industry. Envisioning a future where content in gaming and media is representative of marginalized audiences.
Beyond Pixels is being held at the Oasis, an LGBTQ and Drag nightclub and cabaret in the heart of San Francisco’s SOMA district, from 7pm to 10.30pm on March 18th – entry is FREE!
Pearl Teese has been confirmed as the host of the mixer. As well as being an iconic drag streamer and Twitch Partner, Pearl is a Gayming Ambassador and part of the LGBTQ Rising Streamer Class of ’24. She’s also a regular on TV in San Francisco, co-anchoring the SF Pride Parade broadcast on ABC for the past 4 years.
