SlayStation: The Crystal Ball returns to London’s Clapham Grand
SlayStation is back, back, back again giving the queer nerds of London exactly what they want as they serve up a queer, cosplay, video game themed show and extravaganza!
After the success of the SlayStation: Master Ball in January the team are back and levelling up for what’s billed as their biggest show ever at The Clapham Grand on Saturday 22 July, featuring special guests too!
The theme for the evening is all things fantasy, especially Final Fantasy, Dungeons & Dragons and Baldur’s Gate! With a variety of fantasy acts and easter eggs for all fans on offer, they’re also going to celebrate the recent big hitters and Bri’ish accents especially!
RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star Joe Black returns to headline after appearing as Kefka and Cait Sith last year! Plus, there will be voice actors from Final Fantasy XIV & XVI and Baldur’s Gate 3 appearing on the night.
Hosted by the nerdy trinity and gaming royalty, Velvet Caveat, Miss Terri Boxx and Loose Willis, expect magical performances, costumes, bonus levels, and… PRIZES?!
Audience cosplay is encouraged and rewarded! Come as your favourite fantasy game character, creature, or thing, or participate in one of our games and get the top score, to win nerdy prizes. There’ll be costume prizes like no other, with the favourite costume of the night winning a bundle fit for a hero of light including merch and real video games!
There will also be SlayStation’s first Quest Counter to encourage everyone to embark on adventures on the night and win exclusive prizes!
